Achievement Are we meeting the state indicators set for percentage of students who are proficient? Our percentages generally improved this year, but the bar was raised to meet the indicator, so we met fewer. We were still able to improve a grade because of the performance index. This differentiates between how well students scored, as opposed to just pass or fail.

Gap Closing Are we closing the achievement gap for students with disabilities and those who are economically disadvantaged? This is the measure that determines our status in the Ohio Improvement Process. We need to earn a C for two years out of three to move back to an independent status.
